Okay – it's been a hot minute since I've been regularly in your inbox ––Summit announcements, aside.

Perhaps less dramatically than Moira in this gif, —I'm finally feeling settled back in now!

When you're OUT of practice with something, getting back into your routine is HARD. It almost feels like it did back when I had just 14 subscribers, and each email send or content posted was this tremendous effort of will, at times.

Not because I hated doing it, but because there were many blockers in my way: perfectionism, imposter syndrome, uncertainty of whether I'm doing it right or how I could do it better & whether it's working or not—or will ever work well enough to leave my 9-5... 🫩

So. much. pressure!

Ultimately though, it's kinda like riding a bike again, or getting back on a horse again—it feels a little rusty for a while, but after a few good 'ol tries it starts to feel natural again, even after a very long break.

Anyway, literally mid-writing this email, I decided to just make a video talking through what's been going on behind-the-scenes, so that's coming soon for anyone who's curious!

I'm feeling EXCITED and full of ideas again, which is a fresh new feeling for me that I haven't felt in about a year! 🤓

💰 AI-driven bookkeeping Since deciding to trash QuickBooks, I'm testing both Kick* (which I really like but support is a little slow on the basic plan), and Cashflowy* (which is so far fun to use & bookkeepers are on standby to help, which is a nice touch)! So far both save a ton of time just categorizing my transactions. Not sure which one I'll pick yet!

⏯️ Tella > Loom My big migration from Loom to Tella* is well underway! I've been recording YouTube videos with it, client tutorials, video replies for Club members, and even my presentation for the Square Design Summit! I'm not renewing Descript, bc my editing style is simpler. I don't miss Loom AT ALL. 💁🏻‍♀️👋🏻
